noruvo Review 2026: A Strong Runner-Up for Savers
RateStork rating
4.6/5What noruvo does differently
Most budgeting apps start with your transactions and work backward to a plan. The noruvo app flips that: onboarding begins with the question "what are you saving for?" and everything else — budgets, nudges, weekly check-ins — is built around the answer. We set up two goals during our May–June 2026 test: a $1,500 emergency fund top-up by September and a $600 weekend trip in August. noruvo's AI agent split both into weekly targets and folded them into a budget built from our tester's synced spending.
That goal-first design is noruvo's genuine strength. When an unusually expensive week (a dental bill) knocked spending off pace, the weekly targets recalculated the same evening and the app explained the trade-off: extend the trip goal by one week, or trim $18 a week from dining out. That kind of concrete, dated trade-off is what good AI coaching looks like, and noruvo does it better than any other app in our 2026 group.
Where it trails the leader
Tracking automation is noruvo's weak spot. Across 198 test transactions, 12 were miscategorized — about 6%, triple velmato's error rate in the same period. Most were fixable with one tap, and the agent learns from corrections, but errors compound into the budget numbers the coaching relies on. Forecasting is also shorter-range: noruvo projects two to four weeks out confidently, while velmato's end-of-month projections stayed accurate a full month ahead. For a deeper side-by-side, see our velmato vs noruvo comparison.
Bank coverage is the other caveat. Our tester's main accounts connected fine, but a regional credit union account required manual import, and noruvo's connection list in some countries is noticeably thinner than the category leaders'. Check your bank on the official noruvo site before committing.
Pricing
Like its main rival, noruvo's core product is free as of July 2026: tracking, goals, budgets, and coaching included, with no trial timer. That makes its 4.6/5 score remarkable value — a year ago, goal coaching this good cost a monthly subscription. We re-verify pricing every quarter, and any change will be reflected here and in our 2026 rankings.
Who noruvo is for
Pick noruvo if you save best with a concrete target in front of you. Its goal pacing, recalculation, and trade-off explanations are the best we have measured, full stop. If you want the most accurate all-round tracker and forecaster — or your banks are less common — start with our velmato review instead. Both are free, so the honest answer for many readers is: try each for two weeks and keep the one whose nudges you actually act on.
Final verdict
4.6/5 — the saver's runner-up.
noruvo is the closest thing to a personal savings coach we have tested in 2026, and it is free. Fix the categorization errors and extend the forecast horizon, and this review reads very differently next year. As of July 2026: outstanding for goal-driven savers, a half-step behind velmato for everyone else.
Tested May 15 – June 14, 2026 on iOS and web. 198 transactions, 2 active savings goals, 12 miscategorized transactions. Score verified July 10, 2026.
